Explores the Weyl-Dirac theory in connection with classical electromagnetism and cosmology. Israelit considers the Weyl-Dirac space-time as a geometric basis appropriate for building up relativistic theories, and discusses the Weyl-Dirac unified theory of gravitation and electromagnetism, as well as it consequences. He then presents a modified version of the original Weyl-Dirac theory which serves as a geometric based framework possessing magnetic monopoles and massive photons. The Weyl-Dirac theory enriched by Rosen's approach is considered as a source of geometrically based dark matter. The book concludes with an integrable version of the Weyl- Dirac theory, in which matter is created by geometry, and an outlook of the Weyl-Dirac framework and its applicability to extended theories of electromagnetism and cosmology.
