Gr 4-8-These three series titles not only relate the history of each structure, but also describe its relevance to the national identity of the U.S. Marcovitz's texts are written in a journalistic style with lots of quotations from original sources, making the information accessible and easily digestible. Unfortunately, there is no specific documentation for the quotes. Full-color photographs and reproductions add interest to the narratives, as do insets highlighting important people and trivia.
