School Library Journal
Gr 3-5-Each title explores an aspect of computer technology. Through sample searches, Bullock helps readers learn to surf the Web. The second book teaches youngsters to use their "cybersmarts" when traveling the Internet. Diagrams, "Techno Tips," and photographs enhance both texts. Similar in style and format to Larry Dane Brimner's The World Wide Web and Charnan and Thomas Kazunas's The Internet for Kids (both Children's, 1997), but more comprehensive, these books serve a slightly older audience. Both are adequate for updating collections and keeping the most current information available for young readers.-Pamela K.
