Synopsis

Rachel is so the It Girl. She has the looks and any guy she wants. Until Dylan. To get Dylan, Rachel has her best friend, Hannah, write an e-mail for her. It works. Dylan thinks he's falling for Rachel — but he's really falling for Hannah.

And now Hannah has two choices: bail on her best friend, or risk losing Dylan forever.

School Library Journal

Gr 6-10-This third book in the series offers readers another sweet romance. Hannah has been surrounded by boy friends all her life but has never had a boyfriend. Her best friend, Rachel, the school's official "It Girl," is never without one. Then Dylan moves to Colorado from London, and Hannah thinks she's found just the right guy. However, he is smitten with Rachel's stunning looks and strikes up an e-mail correspondence with her. But Rachel is so not the Literary Girl and asks Hannah to help her. After Hannah writes a series of thoughtfully crafted e-mails to him presumably from Rachel, Dylan thinks Rachel's the girl for him-but it's really the writer he loves. The book is filled with plenty of romantic tension and a magical first kiss on the last page. Tame enough for most readers, but still true to the genre to satisfy hardcore romance fans, this is a delightful, gentle read.-Elaine Baran Black, Gwinnett County Public Library, Lawrenceville, GA Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.
