Overview

When children are born with exceptional physical, emotional, cognitive, health, or developmental conditions, they and their family face many challenges. There Is No Magic was written specifically for parents of children with special needs in order to help them find ways to provide an environment to nurture and enhance the child's physical, social, and educational growth and development. Psychologist and educator Stephen Dubrofsky has over twenty years of experience in Special Education as a teacher, administrator, and family counselor with a primary focus on Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorders. Dubrofskyoffers practical advice on managing and motivating with a holistic approach that includes the benefits of nutrition, exercise, and tips on obtaining testing and assessments. He also stresses the critical role that Mom and Dad play in the child's success, emphasizing the importance of a parent's harmonious inner well being. This insightful guide will surely benefit parents of exceptional children, but can also be an invaluable resource for any parent.
