About the Author, Harry Doherty

Harry Doherty has worked as a music journalist since joining Melody Maker in the 70s.  He has written features on Thin Lizzy, with whom he developed a close relationship, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush and many others.  He founded Metal Hammer and became editor-in-chief of the world's first hard rock video-magazine, Hard 'n Heavy.  He is a contributor to Classic Rock magazine and author of the authorized Queen biography, 40 Years of Queen.

Scott Gorham has been a member of Thin Lizzy since 1974 and still tours with the band today.
