Overview

Timberframe homes offer an aesthetic appeal that can be achieved with no other building style. Their grace, lightness, and ability to span big interior spaces make them much like a canopy of trees over a country lane.

While timberframe homes naturally evoke a country or traditional feeling, Timberframe Interiors teaches that you need not confine yourself to that decor. Timberframe construction provides a wonderful beginning to create a warm, friendly atmosphere while responding to a unique set of interior design challenges. When the decor and the construction join together to establish a fully integrated look, the result is breathtaking.

Dick Pirozzolo combines his love and knowledge of timberframe homes and log homes and cabins with a passion for travel and photography. He has written numerous articles on timberframe homes--from design to construction to decor--for Timber Homes Illustrated and Timber Frame Homes. He has also written articles on contemporary oriental rug design and weaving, and his stories and photos on new trends in Vietnam have appeared in The Boston Herald, The Washington Times, Insight, The Advertiser, and Transpacific.

As a veteran public relations professional, he consults regularly with clients in the home manufacturing, home fashion, and housewares industries.

Dick lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with his wife Jane.

Interior designer and photo stylist Linda Corzine owns and operates Decorating Den Interiors in Louisville, Kentucky. Her interior designs are guided by a desire to help others include elements of fun in their homes.

She has been a professional interior designer for over a decade and studied fashion, home interior, and fabric design at Southern Illinois University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree.

Her awards have included the Grand Prize for Excellence in a Model Home, presented by the Building Systems Council of the National Association of Homebuilders. The home she decorated was featured on the cover of Building Systems Magazine. Linda also consults regularly with Northeastern Log Homes on photo styling and interior design trends.

Linda lives in Prospect, Kentucky.
