Board books have been designed to go everywhere. Some have cords to attach to strollers or cribs while others like this one have a suction cup to attach the book to a high chair, which brings up the next issuehow to keep it clean. The back cover notes that the pages can be wiped with a damp cloth. Since most tots are in a high chair to eat, the focus in the book is on foods and utensils for helping them enjoy the meal. There are fruits, vegetables, plastic bowls, cups, bottles and of course bibs. The pictures are realisticthese kids have food in their mouths, on their faces, and on every nearby surface. There is a variety of ethnicities and the pictures have lots of appeal. If you have a challenge getting your little one to eat, perhaps this book will offer a distraction or provide good examples.
