Too Late for Logic is a cunning mix of fact and fiction. Christopher has sacrificed much to haul himself up the academic ladder. As the play opens he has been asked to deliver a key lecture on Schopenhauer, but Cornelia is dead and Michael has disappeared on a drinking bout with his father's pistol in his pocket.
