After a year observing and recording the work of faith healer Grace Di Biccari``amazing Grace''the author of this biography admits to ambiguity about her popular subject. Skirting the word ``miracle,'' Fuller documents the spontaneous cures that attract a large following to the Roman Catholic mother and housewife from Connecticut. Di Biccari's organized traveling programs of gospel singing, prayer and healing are controversial. Yet, interviews with those who seemingly have been healed and with those who claim a less obvious inner healing indicate phenomena. Medical opinions, as well as support from other disciplines, are presented here. In this intriguing report, Di Biccari makes no large claims for herself, other than her role as witness to the power of prayer. Photos. Author tour. (May)
