About the Author, Robert L. Zion

Author Robert L. Zion is a legend in the field of landscape design, best known for his inspired and original landscape designs for the sculpture garden at the Museum of Modern Art, the Bamboo Garden at the IBM Corporate Headquarters, Bayfront Plaza in Corpus Christi, Paley Park in New York City, and countless award-winning residential landscapes in Los Angeles, Palm Beach, Princeton, and other communities worldwide. In 1984, his firm, Zion & Breen Associates, was chosen by the National Park Service to restore the landscape of The Statue of Liberty. Mr. Zion was recently awarded the Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
