Overview

Thinking involves the activity of interpretation and the interpretation expresses commitment to the truth. It is only when we come to see that the Bible creates the very conditions of thinking - whose unique subject is the unconditional (absolute, infinite, sovereign, and universal) existence of human beings - that we shall be able to comprehend the relationship between truth and interpretation. It is the Bible, and it can only be the Bible, which comprehends and is comprehended by the dialectic of truth and interpretation.
