The familiar rhyme is given a little different treatment in this tabbed "Rookie Toddler" board book. A blue and white striped zebra is being put to bed by his cute mistress. The moon is out, the stars are in the sky and a little yellow bird is heading for its nest. Our protagonist has on a pair of pink pajamas and bunny slippers, and it is her job to put pajamas on her toy zebra. He is settled down to sleep in a bed with a quilt of stars and moons and kids will see that the other stuffed animals are nodding off. But first a bedtime story; then a big kiss and it is "Good night." Tips are provided on the last page. They emphasize regular bedtime stories to quiet down toddlers and then a nice quiet good night to all the toys in the room. It is an attractive book and may be one that really will assist with the nighttime rituals. Reviewer: Marilyn CourtotBook Details
