Overview

After establishing a home base in Provence, France, the Drifters-Herb and Barbara Keyser-spend a riotous year traveling by car, boat, and plane. They laugh their way from Spain to Turkey, England to Italy. A bounty of places to stay, things to see, and meals to savor are described in one hilarious episode after another.
About the Author

In the late 60's Dr. Keyser served as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army Medical Corps delivering babies for two years in Fort Stewart Georgia during the War in Vietnam. For thirty years of his literary life he spent writing scientific books and articles, and two books for the general public on women's healthcare with Women Under the Knife, and then about America's healthcare system with Prescription for Disaster. Dr. Keyser has appeared on many national and local TV and radio programs, including three times on Nightline, twice on Regis Live, as well as programs on HBO and CNN. He has also been a speaker for the Washington Speaker's Bureau. Dr. Keyser is a traveling obstetrician-gynecologist, practicing all over the United States. He divides his time between homes in San Antonio, Texas; Chautauqua, New York; Vail, Colorado; and New York City. For over 40 years he has been a political and social activist.
