About the Author, NCPI

The National Crime Prevention Institute (NCPI) is a division of the University of Louisville's School of Justice Administration, College of Urban and Public Affairs. It has served as the nation's educational and technical resource for the development of comprehensive crime prevention programs at the local, state and national level since its inception in 1971. They offer training programs on Crime and Loss Prevention Practice, Physical Security, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), Private Security Management and Law Enforcement Gerontology.
