Booknews
An introduction to expert systems and the Crystal programming platform that starts with an overview of expert systems and then explores a wide variety of building tools. A great number of practical examples are included and, if the reader has access to Crystal, there is ample opportunity for "hands-on" practice. The author is a professor at the London Business School, so the examples and exercises are more appropriate for the British market, but this is a minor distraction in an excellent book. No background in expert systems or programming is necessary. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)Book Details
