Dr. Michael W. Fox, who holds a veterinary degree and a doctorate of psychology from London University, is the author of Understanding Your Dog. He writes a monthly column on pet care for McCall's, and his syndicated "Animal Doctor" column runs nationally. He lectures widely and is the Vice President of The Human Society of the United States in Washington.
