James Ceaser, professor of political science at the University of Virginia, is the author of Presidential Selection: Theory and Development (Princeton University Press) and Proportional Representation in Presidential Nomination Politics (University Press of Virginia). Andrew Busch is assistant professor of political science at the University of Denver.
