Overview

Much has been written about the Marine Corps in World War II. If participants could describe the events, although events might be marred by the bitter sweet gloss of memory, each participants record may have historical value and may add pulp to the crumbling bones of history. This is the attempt of one of the participants. It is sincere and may justify the hope that it is accurate.
