About the Author, Thomas Hagey

Thomas Hagey was born in 1952 near Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. The renegade son of gentle swine and dairy farmers, he spent his formative years tending to the family's prize breeding stock, watching television, bagging off school and bombarding adults with questions for which there were often unsatisfactory answers.

Thomas's first three books, Playboar, Cowsmopolitan and Penthorse, are classic animal send-ups which have sold well over a million copies worldwide. He also writes comedy, polishes screenplays and is currently studying improvisations at The Second City in Toronto.
