Overview
A War of 1812 pictorial journey (500 km / 310 mile) highlighting Native/First Nations at all the significant battle/historic sites north of the Great Lakes and rivers from the Detroit to the Niagara frontiers. Unique and vivid photographs, authenticated written content, maps, charts, terminology, web reference sites, aligned to Route 1812 and GPS coordinates of the sites visited. Lesson plans will be available on warof1812rph.com. I felt that Native Nations involvement was hardly understood or simply misunderstood. I wanted to create a book that would facilitate the dialogue around the War of 1812 transitioning it from vague and incomplete towards enlightening and informative.Book Details
