A US Army Corps of Engineers consultant guides those navigating the rapids of multiple water resource planning agencies in an era when problems are no longer solvable by building another dam or calculating cost/benefit ratios. Multi-purpose planning is now the game and includes such variables as population, nonpoint source pollution, and endangered species. Includes case studies of Federal- state attempts at coordination, and a glossary with terms like "shared vision modeling." Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, Or.Book Details
