About the Author Dr. Norman D. Livergood is currently the president and publisher of Hermes Press, living in Vista, California. He serves as adjunct instructor at California State University, San Marcos, and at Palomar College, San Marcos. After attending high school and college in Oklahoma, he completed his master and doctoral degrees in philosophy at Yale University. His interest in psychology led him to pursue a master's equivalent in that field. Dr. Livergood completed a second doctorate in artificial intelligence in 1989 at the Union Institute. From 1993 through 1995 he served as Visiting Professor and Chair, Artificial Intelligence, at the United States Army War college.
