Overview
Synopsis: Wetlands are found all over the world. They vary greatly in terms of their climate and location. Each has its special features. Waterbirds and some of the world's largest mammals, such as the rhinoceros, are in this wetlands story. Terms like marshes, swamps, peat bogs are presented along with illustrations. In addition to the familiar Everglades in Florida, the Sundarbans in India and Bangladesh, the Pantanal in Brazil, Kakadu National Park in Australia, and the Flow Country in Scotland are all explored. Animals like the water antelope, or lechwe, of Botswana, Africa, and the caiman of Brazil are introduced.
