Kids who've seen their parents refer to home medical books when they get sick now have a guide of their own. Arranged around roughly a dozen symptoms ("I'm Sneezing," "My Stomach Hurts"), each double-page spread offers three possible explanations for the symptoms, along with three possible remedies. An accompanying Science Box graph explains the workings of the related body system. However, this is strictly an overview, and kids will have to go somewhere else if they want any in-depth information. In the plus column, the brightly colored comic-style drawings and informal photographs give this an inviting look. For larger collections.
