YA This book is intended for adults who are the primary caregivers of those with AIDS or AIDS-Related Complex. Still, there is much valuable information here for any YA who cares about someone with the disease. Information ranges from practical and concrete descriptions of what is known about AIDS, related diseases, and treatment and what to do about insurance, legal, and financial matters; to compassionate, supportive profiles of what readers and their friends may go through emotionally as the disease progresses and after. The speakers are lovers, friends, and relatives of homosexual and bisexual men, drug users, and a hemophiliac. Their testimony shows their courage and caring.
