About the Author, Klenke

Karin Klenke, PhD, is Associate Professor of leadership studies at the University of Richmond, VA. She received her BS and MS degrees in psychology from Old Dominion University. Her fields of research include leadership in information intensive organizations, the relationships between information technologies and leadership styles, leadership in emergent organizational forms, dispersed leadership in high performance teams, innovative methodologies in the study of leadership practices. Her work has been published in four books, numerous professional journals, book chapters, and proceedings of professional conferences. In addition to her work as a leadership educator, scholar, and consultant, Dr. Klenke is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management Systems, a multidisciplinary organizational behavior journal. Finally, Dr. Klenke heads the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) International, a leadership consulting firm that offers a variety of leadership education and development programs to private and public sector organizations.
