This parade of award-winning portraits spotlights more than 500 women from around the world and all different walks of life. From tiny African villages to America’s most sophisticated cities to remote South Pacific islands, readers are introduced to generations of women in their homelands, engaged in everyday activities. Valeria Manferto De Fabianis has collaborated on the production of television documentaries and articles for a number of major magazines. She has also published many photography books including most titles in the CubeBook series. She co-founded Edizioni White Star in 1984 with Marcello Bertinetti and is currently the publishing company’s editorial director.
