Overview
Woodrow Wilson was president of the U.S. from 1912 to 1920. Although under his administration, the U.S. entered WW I, Wilson's great hope was for world peace. This biography covers his role as one of the founders of the League of Nations that was intended to bring an end to war, and Wilson's tragic failure to win ratification of the League of Nations from the U.S. Congress. A professor of law who published scholarly books, he served as president of Princeton University and Governor of New Jersey before his election to the presidency.
