This is the most comprehensive English-language bibliography on work and alcohol abuse currently in print. It contains over 1000 references, covering the period from 1972 through 1986. Source publications, all of which are annotated, include books, articles, dissertations, theses, conference proceedings, and government publications, most of which were published in the U.S., Canada, and Britain. Each of the seven chapters focus on a wide variety of relevant topics such as definition, identification and diagnosis; companies and management; unions, safety, employee dismissal; government; specific occupations; women; and counseling and treatment.
