Working in Language and Law is a detailed account of the forensic linguistic work done by the author in the last 35 years. HANNES KNIFFKA is Professor of General and Applied Linguistics at Bonn University, Germany. He has published articles on sociolinguistics, "culture-contrastive" and anthropological linguistics, text linguistics, and forensic linguistics, and his books include Elements of Culture-Contrastive Linguistics (1995) and Recent Developments in Forensic Linguistics ( editor, 1996).
