Working with Adolescents

Working with Adolescents draws together traditional and recent psychoanalytic theory and illustrates its application to the study of practical therapeutic work with young people through vivid case material. Contemporary social issues and problems experienced by adolescents are highlighted and a systematic discussion of the kinds of problems that young people regularly present to therapists is given. While making a complex theoretical framework accessible to a wide range of professionals and students from a diversity of backgrounds, Working with Adolescents will also further stimulate those who are already familiar with working therapeutically with young people.
