This is the 11th in the series of directories whose overall aim is to make sense of the myriad files in the marketplace by listing databases completely, and grouping them logically. The title, "Company Information," implies a somewhat narrower focus than the directory offers, as the five sections actually encompass databases of product information and directories of both individuals and organizations, as well as databases which are either simple directories or which contain profiles of companies. The databases included here are either those which correspond or give access to conventional online files or those deemed useful to the users of the various directories. No attempt has been made to provide comprehensive Internet coverage; readers can follow links from listed sites or do their own searching of the Internet.
