Majid Tehranian is Professor of International Communications at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Founding Director of the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research.

Jonathan Friedman is directuer d'etudes at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris and Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Lund.

Shalini Randeria teaches Social Anthropolgy at the University of Berlin.
