Overview

The official comic-book adaptation of the sequel to the blockbuster X-Men movie, starring Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry!

The X-Men, a group of heroes with strange and amazing powers, are forever sworn to protect a world that hates and fears them. They have been called together by their mentor, Professor Charles Xavier, to search the globe for mutants in need of guidance and promote unity between humans and mutantkind.

But despite the X-Men's best efforts, mutants still struggle to assimilate into a hostile society; their cause becomes even more desperate following an attack on the President by an enigmatic assailant with extraordinary powers.

And when William Stryker, a wealthy former Army commander rumored to have experimented on mutants, embarks on a militaristic crusade with support from the hightst levels of government, not even Professor Xavier's mansion and School for Gifted Children are safe.

This adaptation captures all the cinematic excitement of the hit movie -- and includes solo tales of two of the stars, Wolverine ane Nightcrawler.
