Overview

One of the greatest blessings of Zion is that God intends it as a refuge for the righteous, a place of safety for those fleeing the wickedness of the world. In his book Zion, A Light in the Darkness, Elder Alexander B. Morrison of the First Quorum of the Seventy, shares ways for us to 'leave Babylon' and 'come to Zion.' Elder Morrison addresses the deterioration of American society as a whole, describing the status of moral issues, social problems, and the declining role of religion today. Much of the wickedness of the last days is prophesied in the scriptures and through latter-day prophets, and Elder Morrison explains how fortifying ourselves with the gospel can turn the tide of evil eroding at our souls, families, and communities and prepare us for the coming of the Savior.
