Synopsis

Make the mirror your best friend in just one month's time-by giving your body a shapeover! 28-Day Body Shapeover provides real, sustainable results with the fastest way to shape the body you've always wanted.

You'll be taken step by step through four weeklong stages of workouts and menus that are set up to fit practically any lifestyle. The key is the structured yet highly flexible plan, which features the following:
Concise workouts just 30 to 40 minutes in length
A choice between daily workouts or three workout days per week
A variety of exercises that can be performed at home or in the gym
Menus that list everything you need to eat for 28 days and allow you to substitute your favorite foods

And once you have finished the first 28 days and are looking your best, the plan doesn't stop there. Author and fitness authority Brad Schoenfeld shows how to adjust the plan so that you can use it over and over again to shape your body to its fullest potential!

Kirkus Reports

"If you have the energy and the commitment, Schoenfeld's workout program will have you sheering off the pounds and adding lean muscle mass, clearly visible within a month's time.

Folks wishing to get in shape fast will welcome Schoenfeld's well-illustrated shapeover routine. It consists of a mere few hours a week-in conjunction with a balanced, moderate diet, for which he gives suggestions-though it will be a demanding few hours as you pump weights and work your cardiovascular system to your personal limit. He offers strategies for boosting metabolism to keep it burning calories long after the workout has ended, as well as ways to overload the muscles, to "blast a muscle group from multiple angles," to thwart any adaptive response that would diminish the workout. He taps basic kinesiology to assure that exercises work synergistically and varies routines to keep them fresh and interesting. His cardiovascular (aerobic interval/cross training) exercises burn fat and improve endurance.

Written with the same breath-stealing vim and verve as his workouts-a few hours, a few weeks, and well worth the gasp."
