This book, apparently written with cooperation from a subsidiary of the British Petroleum Company and Rio Tinto (a multinational mining company), subtly questions the manmade causes of global warming, emphasizing instead the natural cycle of climate change. Short shrift is also given to the need for reducing carbon fuel consumption while the possibility of technological breakthroughs as the solution is emphasized. Impressionistic illustrations poorly depict the misleading text. Skip this one.
