Alex Woolf studied History at the University of Essex. He has worked as an editor for over 15 years and as a freelance writer for six. He has written over 30 books on a variety of topics, including the Romans, the Vikings, the Middle Ages, the Wall Street Crash, Nazi Germany, the Battle of Britain and the Arab-Israeli Conflict.
