K-Gr 3-Readers will receive a very brief introduction to 26 felines, one for each letter of the alphabet (not all are different breeds). However, it is a real stretch to fit each cat to a particular letter. There is no such breed as the "L"ong-haired Abyssinian. The Scottish Fold is found under "F" instead of "S" and the Golden Persian under "G." The sharply focused full-color photographs far surpass the quality of the strained text. A stunning photo of an adult cat(s) illustrates each uppercase letter. Kittens are used to represent the lowercase; they appear to be stiff and just float on the white pages. An additional purchase at best.-Kimberlie Baker, Lucius Beebe Memorial Library, Wakefield, MABook Details
