Overview

When she was nineteen she posted her photo on a free Internet modeling website unaware of the risk, passion and self discovery that would follow. From that day, being a college student in New York City wasn't exciting anymore and instead being a model in New York City sounded so much better. Despite her slim chances of getting a modeling agent based on her height, she grabbed her bootstraps and used the Internet to promote herself. Except after months of running in-between her college classes to shoot with amateur photographers in their basements, penthouses, and living rooms it was inevitable that one day her mother would see her naked on the Internet. After this embarrassment she had no other choice but to change her name to Isobella. With her new name, now giving up before she made something of her self wasn't an option. Two years later, after graduation, Isobella only had three magazine tear sheets and one lead role in a music video, but it is enough to convince her to not be sucked into the corporate world and to keep trying to model. Even if it meant giving up stability and most of her belongings, going homeless and becoming her own agent, all while fighting the doubt given to her along the way. Her story, first typed at the Apple Store on Prince Street in SoHo New York City, will inspire you to try any dream you have had.
