Editorials

From Barnes & Noble

An excellent Apache guide for administrators at all levels, on all platforms (though, unsurprisingly, the focus is on Linux/Unix). Installation, configuration, virtual hosting, proxy services, caching, logs, monitoring, security, server-side includes, CGI and FastCGI, performance tuning, URL rewriting, module construction, and a full section on e-commerce, including all the scripts for a sample site. All that's 200 pages. Add a detailed 150-page reference covering Apache directives, HTTP, PHP, and troubleshooting -- and by the time you're done, you are definitely in business with Apache.
