Synopsis
A blue hat becomes a yellow hat, yellow hair becomes red hair, and a red costume becomes yellow. Babies are introduced to the concept of changing colors in this newest addition to the Flip-a-Face family.
Researchers tell us that babies focus first on faces, making this book of large, smiling faces the perfect visual stimulation for babies. Playful die cuts and soft foam-filled pages make this award-winning format a baby-friendly book that's sure to engage even the youngest of readers.

There are very few words to accompany the faces that fill the pages of this board book. The name of a color appears at the top of each page where the color is named. On the first page, the eyes of the baby are blue and the word "eyes" appears again in a blue semicircle at the bottom of the page. The book moves around among three colors: blue, yellow, and red. The sturdy pages are foam filled and quite lightweight. There are die cuts that show a smile on all of the faces, but the gimmick is actually a little bizarre. All of the images are reprised on the back cover. Part of the "flip-a-Face" series.
