There are very few words to accompany the faces that fill the pages of this board book. In this particular book, the title of which would make one think that the focus is comparisons, there are comparisonsbig and little eyes, noses, teeth, and ears. They all combine together with a mouth to create a face. As an early concept book it works to help kids learn body parts, and it may also bring to their attention comparisons regarding size. The sturdy pages are foam filled and quite lightweight. There are die cuts that show a smile on all of the faces, but the gimmick is actually a little bizarre. All of the images are reprised on the back cover. Part of the "flip-a-Face" series.
