Synopsis

This book in the Kids Can Do It series features more than 12 fabulous cookie projects for kids to bake, build — and eat!

Children's Literature

Aspiring young chefs will find these beautiful baking projects a fun challenge. Gift boxes, flower wreaths, candleholders, gardens, and more can all be created from cookie recipes! The final products are dazzling as presented in the book, but most children will probably not be able to duplicate their perfection without an experienced adult along to supervise. The directions and recipes are complete and clear, and the illustrations provide adequate guidance each step of the way. Most of the recipes seem to require a substantial time commitment and a certain amount of manual dexterity. However, the creations are simply gorgeous, and those who make the effort will surely be rewarded.
