Gr 3-6-- Each of these volumes has ten magic tricks, with a description of what they look like, how to make them, and how to do them. The explanations are excellent, and the materials used are inexpensive and readily available. The small format of the volumes and consequent small, totally uninspired illustrations are something of a detraction, but not a serious one. In light of the demand for material on holidays, these books should be welcome and heavily used in most collections. --Trish Ebbatson, Delaware County District Library, OH
