Gr 3-6-- Four formula magic books that feature holiday themes. There are some entertaining ideas here, including math and counting tricks as well as other types of magic. The illustrations are serviceable single-color line drawings which show multiethnic children of both genders. Layout is careful and appropriate to the text. The writing is clear and straightforward, with a fair balance of different kinds of magic tricks.
