About the Author, Cynthia Nims

Renee Behnke is the president emeritus of Sur La Table, having purchased the original store in Seattle's Pike Place Market in 1995. She expanded Sur La Table by opening 40 new stores and by establishing its nationally recognized cooking class program. She resides in Seattle, WA.
