About the Author, Nancy Platz

Nancy Platz has years of experience teaches early childhood social studies, integrating curriculum and supervised student teachers. She has experience in preschool and primary education as a teacher, had directed several early childhood programs, was a parent educator and currently is involved in teacher education at the early childhood level.

Donald and Nancy Platz both work with early childhood teacher training program at the University of Wisconsin—Stout. Donald Platz teaches early childhood math and science methods courses, and supervises student teachers. He has years of experience as an early childhood teacher, early childhood program director, primary teacher and teacher educator in early childhood education.
