About the Author, Simma Lieberman

After completing facilitator training in New York City over 20 years ago, Simma was hired to improve working relationships amongst diverse racial and ethnic groups in and around New York. Today, along with a multicultural team, she helps her clients to create environments where people can do their best work and enjoy it. Simma Lieberman Associates is a multicultural organization offering a range of skills and experiences that are tailored to client needs. George Simons is co-author of two other best selling books in this series, Working Together and Men and Women, Partners at Work, as well as of a new trade book, EuroDiversity, George has been serving both public and private clients worldwide for over 25 years. Kate Berardo is an intercultural specialist having recently returned to the U.S. from Sapporo, Japan where she was teaching cross-cultural competencies and English language skills. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Northwestern University (2001) who spent her undergraduate years counseling teaching assistants from Europe and Asia on cultural differences and effective teaching practices. She has also developed the protocol for inclusive continuing education for the Center for Independent Futures in Evanston, Illinois, and worked as an editorial assistant on EuroDiversity. Her website culturosity.com, helps individuals developintercultural awareness and build global careers.
